Dads not allowed in labor room in India

Hello friends,

I am US while my husband is from India. I am 4 months pregnant and want my husband to be there in labor room during the child's birth but in India dads are not allowed to attend it. What can I do to make him be there to support me. I will be flying to India next month for my delivery as they have less delivery charges there.

Please help.

You could look into State or Federal financial aid if money is an issue.
Have you traveled to India in the past? As an fyi, hygienic conditions vary widely, but an average medical facility in India is unlikely to match US standards.
