I am a wife of an american and have a permanant green card. Does this help me to bring my sister over to visit or stay in the USA? I need help to understand if they can be sponsored and where to go to get help to bring them to the US. Please help if you can.

You can file for your sister as a green card holder but its a very very long wait............7-10 yrs. She can always apply for a visitors visa but you would only be able to help he rin that regard by being her finanacial sponsor...........she would have to convinc eth eofficer at the embassy that she plans to return to her home country
