Hi All,
One of my friend needs some information, can you pls provide some pointers or information.
My friend is on L1 visa and his spouse is on L2.
Their Visa’s have expired in May 2006.
His company has applied for extension papers before Visa expiration and they have got the application receipt number from USCIS.
His paper is approved and has got the L1 papers.
But his wife’s papers have not been approved and it has been 6 months since L2 extension was applied.
Now they are traveling to India and he has the following question:
Can he and his wife apply for visa based on his L1 papers, since his wife’s extension papers have not been approved by USCIS yet(it is still in pending state on USCIS website)?
Also his company has raised an enquiry with the USCIS.
