TPS applying for green card

I am a TPS (El Salvador) holder with a current EAD who married a US Citizen in June 2006. We are submitting the I-130 et. al. My question is do I need to apply for a new EAD when I submit my COS application? Can I still work under the TPS EAD until my COS is approved? I assume that I am eligible for the rights afforded me under my current status until the new status is approved or denied. Any help/comments will be appreciated!
