Well it depends on what kind of visa you are trying to attain. If you want to live and work in the US, you have to decide if you are going to be getting an employment based visa or a family based visa.

If you are going to go the employment based route, you will need to be offered a job here in the US first. They then can work with you to sponser you for a visa.

If your wife has relatives there, how close are the relatives? They can only file for her if they are her parents, brothers or sisters. Aunts, uncles, etc. can't apply for you. Also, since you are only her fiancee, they can't sponsor you since you have no immediate family connection to them or your fiancee just yet. As you can see, it is a very complicated thing. It is best to be married first if you are thinking of coming to the US. That will make it easier. But you will still need to figure out what kind of visa you want to attain because you might not have any cause for one as of now. Just because you want to come to the US, it doesn't mean you can just apply for a visa unless you plan on just visiting.

There are a list on the types of Visas you can attain from this website:

You will find that in order for your fiancee's relatives to petition for her, they need to be her mother, father, brother or sister.
