Hopefully you can help with some advice with the following situation. I’ am a serving Police Officer in the UK and have just been offered employment with SAPOL starting on the 07 January 2008. My wife and I were hoping to fly out to Australia at the start of December. We have just found out that my wife is pregnant and the baby is due mid February. We have not yet had our medicals and this is the problem as my wife will not be able to undertake the chest x-ray. Could you advise on how we can still apply for our visas and travel as planned in December of this year without my wife having to undergo this x-ray? Many thanks in advance for your help in this matter.
