I am confused about the question in Part C of the I-129F petition. It asks if the US citzen has been CONVICTED of any of the following crimes. It does not ask if they were arrested for any of these crimes. In my case I was arrested for things, but the charges were dropped and the record reads "Nolle Prosse", which means that the charges were dropped. And in one case I had a DUI charge in 1993 that was a conviction, but it was only one time, and the question says 3 times for any such charge needs to be reported.
Do I have to report any of the things if I was not convicted? It will show on my record that they were dropped. Is it nessessary for me to gather all this information being that I am the American citizen trying to get my fiance' here with the K1 VISA? Can I just answer NO to the question, and will they accept it, even though something does show up that was dropped?
PLEASE HELP!
