Helping a friend

Please can someone help me help someone else. I'm an American with no knowledge about the green card and permanent residence routine. I have a friend that was married for 16 years to an American woman who ran off with another man and has divorced him. He is from El Salvador with a green card that he says expires in November. Hesays that she is going to try to revoke his card. He tells me that she signs papers every 4 years to renew his green card and I don't know how to help. He's worried and me and my husband would like to try and help him.

She can not revoke his Green Card. Only USCIS can do that.

If he has been a resident (green card holder) for more than 2 years... and his green card expires every 10 years... then there is nothing to worry about.

his wife can not do anything.

He can also file n-400 to become an US citizen if he has been a resident for more than 4 years and 9 months.
