I have a question, if my son is born here in US while I was on H1. What would be my status after my H1 expires???

Is it possible for me to work legally in US post H1 expiration??

Nope you cannot work.

My friend, your son's an United States citizen by virtue of his birth in the country, you do not get too many special privileges through your son, like work permit etc.

You have no status because your son is born in the USA. The term "anchor baby" is just a term... you get no privileges. Your son can only sponsor you for a green card after he turns 21 years of age.
