My husband is in military and will be deploy in end May 2008. Currently, I'm holding a 2 year GC and will expire in Sept 2008 which I have to apply in June 08. But he will not be around for the interview and at the same time I will be returning back to country since I have no relatives in US. Can I apply for reentry permit to ensure that my 2 year GC is still good and eligable for 10 yr GC after his 2 years service in Iraq? Is that any other way to do this?
