Last month I visited US to renew my green card and filed my re-entry permit at which time I was told I would have to submit fingerprints. I have returned to India and unfortunately Mumbai consulate has not responded to my query if I can give the figerprints for the re-entry permit at their office. Will I have to travel to US again for this purpose or will the consulate office accept the fingerprints for the re-entry permit? Can any one please help ?
