Legal name change midstream

Hello,

My PERM has been approved and company atty are putting I-140 application together. I am planning to change my legal name (add spouse's last name). What are the effects of changing the legal name in midst of GC process? Please let me know.

Plenty of crap to deal with the change. Avoid it if you can.

I guess I will wait. I will just get my spouse's name added to my passport.
