hi, everybody
my wife(USC) and I got married on December 6th, 2006, we applied for adjustment of status on January 21st, 2007. I got my EAD on 26th of July 2007.We went to the initial interview on 14th of Sep 2007. Interview lasted about an hour. The officer separated us almost immediately, asked for I.D. and Birth Certificate, we took an oath. Then he told us that he want to speak with me alone. He asked numerous questions about 25 min. then he took me back to waiting area, asked my wife to come with him. After 15 min or so he came asked me to come with him, back to his office, where my wife was. He told us everything looks good, i will review your case and make a decision i week.
After a week i got the letter from USCIS that they need more evidence, well my wife was on parole at the time, so they asked for a letter from parole officer that she knew about our marriage. I got the letter from parole officers superwiser that parole officer is on vacation and will be back such date.If they need to speak with her, they can call. My deadline to submit evidence was before parole officer comes back from vacation. So i send this letter.
Didn't heard anything from USCIS for 3 month decided to make infoopass.
At infoopass apointment they didn't say much, just wait for 2 months and if i won't hear anything come back.
At that time my wife violated her parole and went to prison.I decided to move to another state because couldn't get a job here.
So i moved changed the address on USCIS website. Took another infoopass went there and requesting to transfer my case. And they did took them just 4 moths to transfer the case after 2 request. Because they were sending the file back and forward.
It is my 6th Infopass apointment by this point and finaly they got the file in the new location. This is 8th of August 2008.
On Sep 3 i get letter saying:
