  • Another US-Citizen tooken for granted from Wife

Hi and I thank you in advance for your answers.

My wife (German) and I (US-Citizen) got married in june 06 and then we filed the I-130, I-485 ect...had our 1st Interview and then she got her Temporary GC/SSN.
Less then a year later I noticed that I was not on top of her List and also found out about her Infidelities with other guys and girls. In August 08 she finally moved out my house and I do not know where she is currently living. She does call me every blue moon and her goal is it to get her permanent GC and then to divorce me. She has also threatened me that if I don't sign for her permanant GC, that she will cause me financial and material harm.

What happens if I don't sign...will she have to go back to her home country? Her temp. GC expires in Jan 09 and I will file for divorce before that date. How can I convince USCIS to deny her permanent GC because of her fraudulent intentions? Because it is so obvious to me that her goal is to get a GC and not persue happiness with me.

    Thanks,

    M.B.

Hi. Sorry for your troubles. I presume you have cancelled all joint bank accounts and so on.

You must contact USCIS immediately and inform them that you were scammed into the marriage.

Write a statement detailing your side of the story with evidence and copies of your wife's forms and identity and mail it to the office where you and your wife had your interview.

Additionally you can do the following:

    1. Make an INFOPASS appointment at the website:

    https://www.immihelp.com/infopass-ap...nt-with-uscis/

and go to the nearest USCIS office and bring along all proof and all copies of your wife's documents and any evidence.

    2. Try calling/writing ICE at 1-866-DHS-2ICE or 202-282-8000 or copy and paste the web address below to your web browser to find the office representing your area.
