Unemployment Insurance and Immigration

I have recently been laid off and can be a claimant of unemployment insurance. Down the road I plan to sponsor my mother. Can someone tell me if claiming unemployment insurance will adversely affect her case for immigration when I plan to do so?

Are you a LPR or USC? If so no problem. You will need to demonstrate later when you sponsor her that you make enough wage.
