Starting a company
My boyfriend who is a master electrician and US Citizen has just got a business license. We need some sort of grant to start the business going. He said he has noticed a lot of immigrants must be getting grants from the state/country to start their business. I was wondering if we can do the same in case I become co-owner of the company. Can we apply for some sort of grant? I am not USC and I am not even permanent resident yet. I have my VAWA (I-360) approved and I applied for AOS. Do I need to get EAD to be eligible?
