Can you explain the differences between the following:

Permanent Resident Card
Resident Alien Card
Employment Card

Do all of these cards legally envelope those persons lawfully admitted for permanent residence as described in 8 U.S.C. §1101(a)(20) (1994)?

Also, what about those persons granted Asylum status - what does that entail?

Permanent Resident Card = Resident Alien Card = Green Card (All 3 are the same thing)

Employment Card = Work Permit

Any of the above allow people to work in the US.
