1.Can you please let me know what are the documents required for the applying to the SSN?
2.How early I can apply for ssn after I land in usa?
3.How long does it take for issuing a ssn?

I have H1B approved and even got stamped.

1. Your passport with H1 visa in it.
2. On the same day.
3. one to two weeks.

I think you need to wait for 3 or 7 days after your entry to apply for SSN.
Apart from that, you need job letter.
