Lost Green Card...Need to Renew License

I lost my green card and in the process of filing the I-90 form to replace it. I also need to renew my drivers license but they require a visual inspection of my green card to do so.

What form of evidence can I show while waiting for the replacement to arrive? Please advise. Thank you.

If they are looking for greencard, I don't there is any other alternative until you get it.

I assume you filed an I-90 because it's too soon for you to apply for naturalization?

Anyway, the immigration service can provide temporary proof of residency by way of a stamp in your passport for emergency reasons. However, you'll need to check with your DMV to see if they'll accept this or if they'll only accept the actual GC (it varies by state).
