Should the name given in SSN and the name on passport be the same?
I am in the process of starting the family-based green-card and recently my wife had a name change because of marriage. The SSN has the new name but the US passport has a different last name. Is this ok or should she change the name on her passport before filing for my green-card?

I would suggest changing the name on the passport to match the SSN.

ITIN name differnt from passport name for GC processing

I have used my wife's married on her ITIN but the passport still has her maiden name. Does this cause any problem with GC? I need to file my GC urgently and cant wait for another month or two. PLease advise.

You should go with the legal name as per the PP for the GC. What you have for ITIN does not matter.
