Hi,
I am eligible to apply now, since 5th year completion of my permanent resident is just 90 days from today.
But, I have a question on one of the steps in 'Naturalization Eligibility Worksheet'. It says that " I have resided in the District or State in which I am applying for citizenship for last three months ";
In my case, the residential address is always California; but I went to India for a long vacation and came back on June 28th, 2009 ie two months ago.
What is my question is that whether this will affect my eligibility, since I was in India for 30 days in last three months;
Please advice.
