Social Security, Green Card

Do you know the answers, or where I could find the answers to these questions:

From 2001 - 2008, I worked on a TN Visa (I'm from Canada)


From 2008 - Present, I have been on a green card.


If I was to stay in the US, when I reached retirement age, would i be entitled to Social Security.


Alternatively, If I was to leave the US and return to Canada, before retirement age, would I be entitled to Social Security?

If you have worked for 40 quarters (ususally 10 years) and in the US, you can get social security benefits. If you are US citizen, you can get social security benefits under the same conditions, even if you are not in the US.
