    Would marriage to a US citizen help in case of a deportation order?

    Let's say you overstayed your visa and got arrested by ICE and months later Judge ordered you to self deport and you didn't.
    Then you got married to a US citizen, would that give you a chance to stay? Can you even apply to USCIS under these circumstances?

    Wondering if any of you had witnessed cases like these.
