Moving to Company B when H1b extention in progress with Company A

Hi Could you please help me out in my case.

Moving to Company B, when H1b extension in progress with Company A.

Do I need to wait till i get the receipt # or get the h1 b extension petition, if I need to go Company B ?

Make sure that you do not fall out of Status when you juggle two H1's between 2 companies.

If Company 1 knows that you are also processing thru company 2, they may Kill the H1 extention, which under certain circumstances could make you out of status.. so be careful before effecting a move.
