My name is Shun.
I am really confused about the tuition benefit for green card holder. it says Green card holder pay less tuition for university or college, referred to as in state or resident tuition. Savings are considerable and in most cases, they are 3 to 4 times lower than what foreigner pays.
I asked to some of admission advisors about this, and they answered even if you have a green card, you will be considered as non-resident if you live in USA less than one year because it takes one year to get state residency.
so this benefit already includes the meaning of the fact that people have a state residency? Or is this really true I can get resident tuition if I have a green card?
I appreciate your time and effort regarding this question. Thank you so much.
Sincerely
