Hi Harry150! It would probably be best for you to find an immigration lawyer to help you out and give you proper advice on what to do. that can help you find an immigration lawyer in Elizabeth New Jersey or any other area in the United States. This way, you can be sure that you'll be given the right advice and that you won't miss out on any requirements to process your student Visa for Canada.

Hello. if a person is already in Canada on visitors visa, can that person convert or apply for work or student visa while in Canada?

I have a quick question. I hope you can answer it guys. I don't have IELTS. But I completed my graduation this year. Can I apply for Canadian Visa? I'm highly interested to choose the right college for me. If you can guide here please let me know. I will wait for your further reply.

What are the minor and major requirements?
          . Choose a Canadian University:
          • Research Canadian universities and choose one that offers the program you're interested in.
          • Check the university's admission requirements and deadlines, which can vary from one institution to another.

          2. Admission Requirements:
          • High School Transcripts: You will typically need to provide your high school transcripts, which may need to be evaluated by a recognized credential evaluation service.
          • English Language Proficiency: Most Canadian universities require proof of English language proficiency, usually through tests like IELTS or TOEFL.
          • Standardized Tests: Some programs may require standardized tests like the SAT or ACT.
          • Letters of Recommendation: You might need letters of recommendation from teachers or other academic references.
          • Statement of Purpose: Some universities may ask for a statement of purpose explaining why you want to study in Canada and why you've chosen their university.

          3. Financial Requirements:
          • You'll need to demonstrate that you have sufficient funds to cover tuition fees, living expenses, and other costs while studying in Canada.
          • Some universities may also offer scholarships and financial aid for international students.

          4. Visa and Study Permit:
          • Once you receive an acceptance letter from a Canadian university, you can apply for a study permit (student visa).
          • You'll need to provide proof of acceptance, financial support, and other documents as required by the Canadian immigration authorities.

          5. Health Insurance:
          • You may be required to have health insurance while studying in Canada. Some provinces provide health coverage, while others require you to purchase private health insurance.

          6. Housing:
          • Arrange for accommodation either on or off-campus. Many universities offer on-campus housing options for international students.

          7. Arrival in Canada:
          • Plan your arrival and make necessary travel arrangements.
          • Attend orientation programs if offered by your university to help you settle in.

          8. Work Permits and Co-op Programs:
          • If you plan to work while studying, familiarize yourself with the regulations surrounding work permits for international students.
          • Explore co-op and internship opportunities, which can provide valuable work experience.

          9. Study and Stay in Compliance:
          • Attend classes regularly and maintain good academic standing.
          • Abide by the rules and regulations of your university and Canadian immigration authorities.

          10. Post-Graduation Options:
          • Consider your post-graduation plans, such as applying for a post-graduation work permit or further studies.

These are the major steps and requirements for studying in Canada as an undergraduate student. It's crucial to check the specific requirements of the university and program you're interested in, as they can vary. Additionally, consult with the Canadian embassy or consulate in your home country for the most up-to-date information on study permits and visas. Good luck with your plans to study in Canada!

Generally, you’ll want to check with your current university about how the credits transfer and what their requirements are. As for the Canadian schools, many have their own admissions criteria, like transcripts, letters of recommendation, and English proficiency tests.

While I was preparing for my applications, I heard about gmat cheating and how some folks were trying to take shortcuts. A friend found this site, cal-exam, that offered tips for boosting scores honestly, which really helped him prepare. It’s all about putting in the effort and finding the right resources to succeed.
