I'm a US citizen with a child born out of wedlock to a foreign national while living overseas. I recently moved back to the US. My daughter is a US citizen and I would like her to move to the US as well, but her mother will not allow it if she cannot go with her. Is there any way of getting the mother US residency without marriage?

Your daughter is a US citizen, says who?
You must file a Fiance visa (K-1) or marry her and file an I-130.

Thanks for your reply. At the beginning of 2009, I was able to get a Consular Report of Birth Abroad and US Passport for my daughter, via their local US Embassy.
