  • Petition for Sibling

    Hi everyone,

I am not sure this is the right place to ask question.

I would like to bring my sister to live in U.S. as a permanent resident. They never been in US before.
I have done lots of researches, but I can't find much information about petition for brother and sister. The more I read, the more confuse I get. Can any one give me advice? I am really appreciate.

I know these are the documents required with I-130
    Cover Letter (optional)
    Application fee: $420
    Copy of my naturalization certificate
Copies of birth certificates of myself, my sister, and her children
Copy of marriage certificate of my sister - she married

    My questions are:

Do I need to include her husband birth certificate?
My sister country doesn't have Zip code, should I put N/A?
Do I need to include I-864 (affidavit of support) with I-130 or should I wait until they ask?
If I have to include i-864 with I-130, can I still send the package to USCIS - P.O. Box 804625, Chicago, IL 60680-4107 even this address is only use for form I-130 ALONE?

    Am I cover everything?

    Thank you very much

    Theresa

Please fill out a I-130 for your sister ONLY. Within the form, add the husband's and the kids names and date of births. Initially only a proof of relationship will be submitted for you and your sister and no one else.
Remember, ONE I-130 form, Proof of Relationship between you and your sister and Fees, and nothing else.
    Good Luck
