Renewing Green Card Help

Hi All
Hope this is the right place for this question. If not please direct me to the right place. My husband is coming up for his 10 year green card renewel in 2012. He recently had his wallet stolen and his green card was in it and was also stolen. My question is.... will he have to replace it now and then renew it again in the next year or when we replace it now will they automatically renew it for another 10 years now? Thanks for your help.

He does not want to be an US citizen? You can call and ask USCIS customer services; they will help you with this question I believe or visit USCIS to see what the instructions about replacing a green card! All the best. I am just trying to help. Hope that will help you! All the best.
