Maiden name change after marriage

Hello,

My wife's name before marriage was DIMPLE SHARMA and after marriage her name changed to DIMPLE KAUSHIK.

We have marriage certificate indicating her name as DIMPLE SHARMA (before marriage) and as DIMPLE KAUSHIK (after marriage).

Kindly clarify:

1. Her name in passport is DIMPLE SHARMA. Whether she needs any change in her existing passport? If yes, what is the change that is required?

2. If no change is required, can she use her name DIMPLE KAUSHIK freely for any visa stamping related work?
