Can't find ITIN Status on IRS Support number... seems to have changed

Hi,

Does anybody know how to get the ITIN status on IRS numbers? I've tried all options and I always end up in a dead end, either asking for a Social Security Number or redirecting me for more information on the website. I called a month ago and there was an explicit options for ITIN, anybody know what happened or how I can find out how to check the ITIN status??
