Hi,

I've been living in USA for about 7 years and always file income tax. Recently I just realized that I have to declare my foreign life insurance which I bought before i came to USA. What should I do now ?

Usually you have to declare if you have a total of assets worth 10000 dollars any time throughout the year. If it is less than that then you dont have to declare on the FBAR. I hope this answers your question.
