SSN for L2 - Baby

Hi all,

My friend kid born in India and came to USA on L2. She is 2 years old.

Is she eligible for SSN or is he needs to apply ITIN for his tax returns.

Can you please help me on this regards.

Yes, you can apply for SSN. I have SSN for my daughter who was born in India.

Submit ITIN form -W7 together with Income tax return to IRS on address given on the form.
