USA Incometax returns for dependents

Hi All,

Can you please guide me on this issue. My parents came to USA on visitor visa for 6 months. They stayed with me. If I want to apply my tax returns can I able to show them. Thay are not aligible for SSN, so do I have to apply for ITIN.
Please guide me on this procudure detail.

You need to look at the instructions for form W-7 as well as the substantial presence test in the instructions to the 1040NR. Be sure to get the accompanying documents notorized with the statement per the instructions.
