  • Real estate investment visa ?

Hey guys I've been reading over the internet about real estate visa if you buy a house in US worth more then $500,000 for own self you'll be granted a Non-immigration residential visa & you can live in US as long as you own the house.
Is US really offering visa over real estate purchase or it's just bunch of **** over then internet, if it's true then please give me some information/requirement for this type of visa.

    Thank you,

There is no such thing as a "real estate investment visa," such as you describe. Someone trying to encourage real estate purchases by non-U.S. residents may be mixing investment-type visas, which would require investing in a business which would generate a handful of jobs for Americans with putting money into real estate. In my opinion, that's not reliable advice.

Well, I don't think so that, there is any kind of visa like this offering by US government. If it would be true, So there are a lot of real estate investing experts in USA, Who can provide training to non-us residents as well for investing and invest through by the help of this visa....

U.S. immigration policy is not so generous as to offer a visa to someone who will pay $500,000 for a house. On the other hand, if that amount of money can be combined with an investment plan which will guarantee a minimum number of jobs, you are talking about an "investment visa." I think Canada beat out the U.S. when Hong Kong was headed to a change in control from U.K. to China, and thousands of HK Chinese were given options for settling in Canada on easy terms. Canada got lots of passive investment monies while the US. was denying routinely denying visas to Chinese applicants who rubbed the interviewers the wrong way.

I haven't hears this kind of scenario where the government allow an individual to stay in the US by purchasing a real estate. I think it will give negative impact to the community, if some wants to have a visa then rules and regulations should be strictly followed.

Hello- I'm not an attorney; I am a real estate professional living in So Fla who has assisted several clients attain residency with E visa using real estate investments. This visa is available for countries who have a treaty w/ the US. I have a list of the countries, which I can email to you as well as give you a recommendation for a highly reputable & honest immigration attorney, with whom you could consult.

While this visa does not request a minimum amount purchase, the investment should be made in cash & to a multi family property- triplex minimum. This visa is renewable.

            Regards,
            Luciana
