Interview cancelled

I received an email from NVC detailing an interview scheduled for May 28, 2015. After 20 days, I received another email informing me that my embassy interview schedule has been cancelled. The reason they said is because the annual limit for E3 visas has been reached. I checked the visa bulletin and they are currently processing Oct 2014 prio date. My prio date is July 2007. Does anyone have a similar case? What should I do? I need your insights please. Thanks.

Hi sorry that your interview got cancelled. I have never heard in last 10 years that E3 visa reached its 10,500 quota. The most i heard is they issued 3,800 visas once.
Its hard to believe. the new quota opens on October 1st. Just to be sure if the quota for 2014-2015 was filled, please call or email the consulate in Sydney or any other Consulate in Australia.
