Processing time for E3 and E3D visa extension in chennai consulate?

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me the approximate processing times for E3 and E3D visa extensions at chennai consulate from the date of the interview?

Have a 3 week vacation gap at chennai before my extension needs to be completed. Possible?
