Can i visit Canada while on an E2 Visa for USA?

I'm from Serbia and have just received my E2 visa for the united states and will be moving there in a few weeks. I would like to at some point visit Canada, eitehr once or several times while I am in the USA. Do i need to get a tourist/visistor visa to cross the border to go to Canada? Serbians normally require a tourist visa to visit Canada but if I have a three year American E2 visa can i go to Canada on it for short trips and does my method of transport make a differnce ie: by car or by plane?

Only US citizens or Permanent Residents may travel visa-free to Canada. You have to apply for a Canadian visa as you are ineligible to travel to Canada on a non-immigrant E2 visa.
