1 Is there anything unique about him having an E2 visa or can we apply once married through the usual adjustment of status process, etc? This can be done in the US right?
2. We want to have a ceremony here in the US and then another in Italy with his family. We would like to apply for the greencard after we get married in the US before our Italian ceremony. Question on the timing. If we get married and apply here in Feb/March, do we think timing on getting conditional approval is ok to plan for a September wedding in Italy. We don't want to commit to venues/dates until we have this piece sorted.
Any thoughts on the process would be helpful as we are trying to figure out timing for planning our weddings!
