E1 non immigrant visa fro US

I am Canadian citizen and have Mechanical Engineering degree with MBA. I would like to know the requirements for E1 Treaty Trader visa for US. I own and operate a Canadian business Incorporation in Canada. This Canadian Incorporation has no import or export of services or good with any US business corporation. Under what grounds i can apply and get E1 visa. As i heard that my Canadian business corporation must have significant transaction of the business with any US corporation. Is this right? Any help i can get from this forum. Can i file application for E1 visa myself, how difficult is to prepare the application or do i need a lawyer?

Also if i can not qualify for E1 Treaty Trader US Visa. What are requirements and minimum investment needed for E2 Treaty Investment visa category. Can i file application for E2 visa myself, how difficult is to prepare the application or do i need a lawyer?
