Hello,
I am looking for advice on having an E2 visa replaced/ re-issued.
My husband has lost his passport with the E2 visa in it. He has reported it to the police, made a new passport application with his Consulate and notified the US embassy in London (where visa was issued).
Now, he has been told he must re-apply for the visa. Does this mean an entirely new E2 visa application must be made? Must the entire family travel to London to re-apply? We are two adults and two children.
And my most urgent concern...my daughter is on holiday in the UK and travelling home alone. Will she be able to re-enter the US with the E2 visa in her passport, although my husband has reported his passport with the visa missing?
It is so difficult to get answers to these questions from anywhere and I would really appreciate any advice or hearing about any similar experiences !
Thankyou!
