  • No Exp. Date on I94 problems with USCIS

I entered the us with my new E2 visa (dependent) I realized that there is a stamp as usual but no exp date written down by the officer and on the back there is no change of status mentioned (I changed my E2 to an E2 Depentent). Will that be a problem at the USCIS office when applying for the work permit (I 765)

    thanks for any help

Yes, you need to go to CBP and ask them for the exp date.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.
