  • Question about E1 limitations

    Hello,
I hope somebody can help me with this question.
I have an E-1 Visa, and I have been in the US many years now (7 years with different E-1 Visas).
I am an engineer with an Italian company, that sponsors my E-1 Visa.

I like photography, and I am in the process to open a web page that would eventually also allow me to sell my photos online. The provider of the web service requires that US based customers provide a W-9 form for IRS. I have no problem to pay taxes, if I end up making any profit from selling my photos online (if that happens :-) ), it does make sense.
My only concern is, would this break the E-1 rule that states I should only work for my sponsor (I still work full time for the company that sponsors my E-1 Visa, I do not plan to stop working for this company).
Please help me out understand this, if I sell my photos online would I be breaching an E-1 Visa requirement? I would think no, but I want to be sure and not risk to loose my E-1 Visa.
    Thank you
