E1 Visa,work permission, SSC

Hi,

I have received an E1 visa last year.
Now I am trying to get employed by the trading company. Since we are a small company I have to support on this.

Do I need to an extra work permission or does my type of visa entitle me to work in the US automatically.

Am I entitled to get a social security card?

I am planning on moving to the US in summer this year. Will I be able to get a US drivers licence before I move and is that nessecary?
