  • E2 to Greencard????

    Hi All,

Help! Does anyone had an E2 visa here and now currently holding a Greencard thru employment based?

Some lawyer says it is possible some says it isn't. I'm totally confused!!!

If it is possible, what form they will file after the PERM? is it I-140 or I-508?

    Any help is highly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance!

      E2 to greencard

      Hi

Yes it is possible to change an e2 into a greencard. I know several people who have done this however to qualify your business must employ at least 5 US employees and your business must be shown to be profitable i.e enough to sustain you and your family.

I looked into this on behalf of my parents and consulted an attorney who had secured green cards for some of my customers.

By the way attorney fees are heavy. I was quoted $13,000.
