URGENT - L1B -> L1A conversion is in progress, can L2 travel during this period?

I am a L1B holder and my wife has an L2 visa based on L1B status (Both are valid till Nov-25). I am going for a visa interview in Canada soon to get my L1A visa (well before Nov-25) but my wife's L2 will be done later. Two questions -

- I plan to travel with my wife to Canada during my L1A interview. If my status is changed to L1A, can she re-enter US using her earlier L2 (which was based on my L1B) and still has validity till Nov-25?
- How much visa validity is required for her to re-enter US (if she can) (since probably she will be left with only 2-3 weeks of visa validity while reentering US)?

Till when is her I-94 valid? Why aren't you getting her new L2 stamped too? Doesnt make sense. Her current L2 is associated with your L1B, the moment your L1B ceases the L2 associated with that also ceases. She should also convert her L2 to match your newer L1A. Either dont take her to Canada for your stamping or get a new L2 stamped for her too.

I have heard my people saying they gioing to Canada for interview or appling thorugh Canada. Can you pls provide more details on it.
