H1 B COS and Transfer

I am on L1 Visa with Employer A in USA and it expires on 8-Dec-2012. Employer B filled H1B for me whivh got approved last week but i did not get change of status. I am still working for Employer A with L1 visa.

Question :- Can i get my Status changed from L1 to H1 without going out of the country ?
With the fact that i have not used H1B yet ,Can Employer C get my visa transfered ?

Was the H1 applied as COS or as Consular Processing? If it was applied as COS you are probably already on H1, check the start date on the H1 petition and you should be working only with Employer B from that date. If it was applied as Consular Processing then either you have to leave US get H1 stamped and then return on H1 for B/C or get the application amended from CP to COS for B/C before your L1 I-94 expires.
