L2 Visa Application for Wife who is a Foreigner

Hi,

My husband who is an Indian citizen is applying for his L1 visa to the US. Both of us are living in India. However, I am a foreigner. My question is:

Can I apply for my L2 visa in Chennai, India at the same time as my husband's L1 application? Or do I have to go back to my country in order to apply for my L2 visa?

If yes, how can I apply for it?

Is there any useful websites pertaining to L1/L2 visa which I can read and gather more information?

Any help or advice given by fellow forum members who have gone through this process will be deeply appreciated.

We are totally in the dark.
