Regarding surname discrepancy in L1 petition

Hello,

I am facing an issue and it is quit urgent.
My surname in passport is : Sandy Hurricane (name changed). There is a space in my surname and this is causing me a problem now.
In my L1 supporting document filled in USCIS the surname is : SandyHurricane (without any space). I am trying to get this corrected but I have very little time for doing the same.

Did any one face this issue earlier or Could any one suggest me what can be done at the earliest. My appointment is scheduled next week and I am worried if this will cause a major problem.

Doesnt your company ask you to verify before applying and generating the petition? I would advise you to get it corrected as eventually this might end up being the surname in your visa stamp and subsequent documents such as SSN, payroll etc.
