Name Correction in I-797A - Does not quality an an expedite request, request for expe

Hi All , need urgent help , I received my wife's I-797A with a typo in First name . My Employer/Attorney have called and spoke to Officer who put in a service request ) for a new Approval/I-94 to be issued with the correct spelling . But I received letter from USCIS stating that "Does not quality an an expedite request, request for expeditious process is denied " any Idea on how many days it will take to correct the name ? where can i check the status of service request (ETC xxxx xxx xxx VSC) ? my wife is planning to travel India 2 weeks from today , is there any problem if goes for Visa with the Typo in her First name ?

Hope wife is in US on a defendant visa. If yes, the name issue in her approval notice is not a big problem, if she is leaving US.
Once she leaves US, there is no use of that approval notice.
If she need to get the visa stamped again, what she need is your approval notice, not her.
